Schotkky's & Suppression Caps

Hello

Bought a couple of cheap motors from fleabay and they don't have cap's or doides.
Can someone give me an idea of the type of capacitors to fit and schotkky doide's as RS/Maplin has loads listed.

As regards capacitors for motor suppression, 0.1uF 50V ceramic.
And schottky diodes 80SQ035 (8A) axial type. Lower spec types can be used provided the ESC being used has some form of 'internal schottky'.
Note: don't fit them on your motor if you have a forward/reverse ESC!!

I have found the diodes but they are rated at 40V max not 35V as you specified will these still be OK.
