Proposal:
Instead of running only once a month, run twice a month.

Run 19 Turn on 2nd Sunday of each month,
Run Open Modified on 4th Sunday of each month.

Gives more racing, and makes it easier to race in both classes if you want to.

Proposal the club has a family membership fee to attract more members.

Most other clubs operate this way. This would only be open to family's with jnr drivers as defined in the brca regs and not big kids age 16+ with beards. It would be £80 for a dad and three kids to join at the moment plus their brca memberships. This kind of expense am sure scares family's from ever starting or just racing for fun and not in the championship.

Proposal:
Shorten the club meeting, by starting later and finishing at 5pm.
Start with Round 1 at 12pm, racing finished by 5pm.

This is very workable, if the proposal for 4 Qualifying and 1 Final is agreed.
(60 drivers per meeting maximum).

It will give people travelling from further afield more time to get there, and will increase attendance.

Stonehaven to hold a round of the SMTCA Championship, possibly with results to be included as part of the s.d.r.c.c Club Championships

Club Race Format to change from 3 qualifying rounds and 3 leg finals,
to 4 qualifying rounds and 1 final.

Proposal:
Make less rounds of championship to count. Instead of 6 from 7 or 5 from 7, we should run 8 rounds of a championship with 5 counting.

Run from March to October, once a month, making 8.
Only count 5 best rounds scores.
FTD and Final to score points.

This is based on each championship, so if seperate meetings is approved, then each championship would be of 8 events and 5 of each would count.

Proposal:
Club raises visitors fees to £6 and reduces member fees to £4, to encourage membership joining.

Club membership fee to remain at £20 per year.

Only Club members to count to championship.

Proposal:
I have posted this proposal on behalf of Mark, as he has emailed me several times on this matter, as has Dan, and Les has spoken to me re this also.

The proposal is to allow brushless systems to compete in the Open Modified class of racing.

Proposal:
Allow committee to decide format and date of Grand Prix.

A sponsor has been obtained for the Grand Prix, and they are willing to support a two day event at the moment.

Details will not be available till the format and level of support has been established. Therefore it will require the decision on format and date to be decided at committee, rather than AGM level.

Proposal: Once the Race Calendar is decided for dates, the AGM sets out which track layout to use on each date.

Proposal:
Club upgrades to Personal Transpoder system.

Means each club member must purchase a Personal Transponder at (£47) and Club must buy new decoder and 20 new digital club transponders (£2365).

Discounts may be available.
