Seen this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3150956251&category=12 00), and wondered whether it would be a good project, or a right dog to steer clear of?

Also if it is worth a look, what is the max I should think of paying, considering the work it looks like it'll need before it'll run?

Thanks,
Simon.

By the time you have bought the bits to fix it, you could of bought a working second hand one.

If you don't have the bits to fix it kicking around, it is already too expensive.

Thanks guys.

How much do you recon it'll cost to get running? I have electrics/radio gear for it already.

How much would I be looking at if I went for a second hand (working) one?

In the same condition, or has he stripped it?

EDIT:
Looks like he's selling the Cat 3000 as well.

it was in a similar condition, as far as I can see. I paid £20 quid for it 'cos the shocks were btand new, and Mt cat3000 needed some new shocks.

Yep, he is selling the Cat 3000 too. goodness knows why though, as when I sold it was well sorted. Easily the best handling 4wd car at our club, and not far off the fastest either . . . . I sold it only because I had way too many cars at the time.
