I have some glitching with mine as well lewisg, I'm using the type R KoPropo thing... I think all systems will have some glitching no idea how to avoid this! Again this is just my view and im no expert, keep the receiver as far away from parts that can effect it and double up on that spongy tape stuff (name escapes me right now). Also make sure the antenna wire is not touching the chassis.

Hope these suggestions help…

I don't normally have a problem with this but...

One time it was overheating, I tried moving the controller about in the car.
But I gave up because any other way of arranging things that I tried gave bad interference.

What works for me is having the receiver on the opposite side from the motor & battery wires. (See the picture in the cooling thread). I could maybe move the receiver further away, but I don't seem to have a problem at the moment.

This is with a 40MHz KO 302 receiver.

I had glitching problems when I first got a SS5800 system a year ago. I was using 27AM at the time. Moving the receiver as far away as possible from the controller helped, but didn't eliminate it completely. I also remember it being a lot worse when the controller was in 'limited' mode.

I changed over to a Hi-Tec Aggressor CRX 40FM system, and haven't had any glitching problems at all since then.

I've been having glitching problems when racing. Its worse when accelerating from slow speeds and fine during normal racing. The car tends to accelerate in spurts rather than smoothly. It also makes the steering twitch at the same time. Its like interference, but only when the motor is under heavy load. Its only been doing it since I put a bigger pinion on it
I have two theories:

1) It might be interference, so moving receiver around etc might cure it. I running it in our car park at work (where no one else was about on 40MHz) and although it was still doing it a bit, it was much better.

2) It could be due to having a large current drain from the battery. This would be highest under full throttle acceleration from a standstill and could cause a drop in voltage to the receiver circuit. I think the power capacitor is designed to reduce this problem. I have a 2200 micF capacitor that is bigger than the ~650micF one they provide with the Novak system, so I'll try tht instead. This might smooth the supply a bit better

I think a combination of the 2 problems things is happening here. The voltage drop could be making the system more susceptible to interference as well.
