Interesting top deck, i wonder what advantage it has over the stock one. Looks like differant rear shock tower too.

looks like a similar design to the belt drive ssg
supposedly tunable my making the deck more flexible by the amount of securing screws or no centre at all

notice the front rollbar, its round the oposite way from stock, the rollbar attaches tp the top deck which is different also. I wonder how much the Gold edition will cost ? the green alloy is nice also.

It is more than likely a one of for Masami, ever since the early 90's he has had hand made cars to his detail made, for him to race, and then some of the ideas get through, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a GSG chassis.

Hi friends. Greetings from Malta.

Masami's Yokes are always personalised. They always have something different.

He raced a Gold one and a Green one at the Reedy race in the US a couple of months ago.

There are some interesting mods on this one. I noticed the top plate with "flex adjuster" ala MR4 Special.

The front roll bar is also MR4. They had a choice of either front or back mounting. I always ran mine with a back mounting one. It's softer.

Towers too are different. There are now quite a few people producing SD towers with different ideas. Interesting that Yoke too should find the necessity.

Another interesting mod is the battery hold down, with the additional anchorage. I sorted my battery problem with the little buttons produced by Tobee Craft. So simple, so cheap, yet so effective. I gave some to Andy Robson and Adam Rogers when in UK recently.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.

Actually, you could make a carbon the colour you want. Just use an anodised aluminium instead of classic "silver" aluminium.

I felt there were more mods in the chassis Masami was using at the Reedy Race, but not the top deck one.

I don't like the body mounts being on the top deck, as it's not as stiff and could break it.

that is so cool. think how much it'll cost though if they bring it out as an upgrade. it's well cool.
