Hi

I'm currently running a Krypton 12x2 in my 1/12. I have tried an LRP 11x2 and a Core 10x2, but these just don't seem to cut it.

We race on a really small and tight track so I gear to about 30 - 32 mm/rev. On Doom's 3300 I have no dumping issues.

I have also tried a Krypton 14x2 geared to about 36mm/rev and it was really smooth, but a little slow. As I only used it for one run (just to see what it would do) I'm sure some experimenting with gearing would make it better.

For all these I kept the factory springs and timing. Juse a skim each meeting or so to keep them sweet.

Hope this is of some use,

James

Steve,

I plan on doing some motor testing at Teeside with both the Kr and Ti Reedy motors.

I shall be trying anything between 9 and 12 turns so we'll see what is quick.

So far I have only ran a Reedy Ti 11x2 on 44mpr on a small track, but boy was that quick and I could run for 10 minutes.

I can't wait.

See you there

Paul

Steve, Personally i shall be using Fantom's, both Ti and KRY. Haven't tried either as the car is in bits and hasn't done anything since chesterfield!

Peak 10x3, GP 3300's on 35 mmpr for Teesside

or may try BRM 19t, hand wound on 70mmpr with 2400's

email from Glyn
run 2marks adv and 70 mmpr ran 17 with one mark adv at plymouth very fast

I ran BRM 19t in XXX-4 @ vetarans off-road @ Worksop and made 2nd in A so I know it goes. Didn't discharge cells between runs and only needed to put 1800/2000 mah back in Pana 3000's
