i have a FT TC3 and i would like to lose about 50 grams but i do not want to spend much money in doing so . i have a dremel tool if this needs to be used.

Hi

I found the best thing is this

Get a blue AE Drive shft £8
If you have a blue wrap around take it of as that ways about say 35g
that should help and thats the cheapest way i know

Hey up Jonny,
Why do you want to loose weight? I have to add 70 grams to get up to 1500.

Indeed, with 2400 Nicads, my Team TC3 only just makes the weight limit. I can't understand peoples obsession with trying to lighten cars when there is a lower limit....

Also, I think the 'blue wrap around' is the full motor heatsink.

With cars like the TC3, where cells are laid down the one side of the car, and electrics down the other, more than likely, the weight from side to side is different.

If you can drop the car below the limit, then you can use weights on the light side of the car, to try to even up the weight distribution, cause the only time you want a weight bias is when you race going around in circles....

why would getting the blue AE driveshaft losing weight? surely the new version ally one is heavier by a little than the carbon fibre original tc3 one.
