Can anyone help. i've ordered a 10x2 two weeks ago and i've just phoned up the shop and they have said that they have had a delivery from mirage and apparently they are no longer making doubles! This does seam strange to me. can anyone shead some light onto this situation.

Thats got to be total tosh..... you will find the majority of RC racers use singles / doubles therefore I would be surprised if they were no longer making doubles as it would hit them where it hurt!

Its possible on one specific model I guess? - what did you order?

More likely the shop hasnt had any come in and are trying to sell you what they have?

I have checked the Orion web site and looked at all the core modifieds and the V2 range. 10 x 2 are still listed in all ranges mentioned above.

What specific Orion motor are you talking about??

My advice is to speak directly to the importer, then based on their information you can work out if the shop you asked is correct or not. If not, then I would use them feet and take my business elsewhere. Plenty of shops do mail order these days !!

Supplies of 10 double Revolution motors do seem to be thin on the ground.
10 singles are no problem so I suspect it is because the double is the most popular wind.

checking back on the steenari motors they were originally shown in 10x2 guise but looking at the orion website recently the 10x2 steenari has gone, only an 11x2.odd?

that seems strange because doubles are probably the most popular winds, possibly second to singles but still I doubt they have stopped producing Doubles all together.

i think it i sonly in the special editions that it is the case as they are driver specific. the standard modified and touring should still have doubles.
