View Full Version : U.S. Pan Car Championships

06-05-2004, 12:09 AM
Hey guys! Dust off your Pro10s and your Pro12s (12th scale), because I am organizing a little something called the US Pan Car Championships. . It is tentatively scheduled for April 28-May 1 2005 at the Hobbytown USA in San Antonio, TX. AC power will be provided. The track uses the AMBrc timing system with JLap scoring software, so personal transponders are recommended. The track is 115x55 with 8-10 foot lanes so there is plenty of room for good ol door to door racing (but hacking and rough driving is discouraged and will be penalized severely).

Here is the list of planned classes

Pro10 6 cell stock
Pro10 6 cell modified (10 turn limit)
Pro10 4 cell 19T GT1 (pending preentry numbers)
Pro10 4 cell stock oval
Pro10 4 cell 19T
Pro10 4 cell modified (10 turn limit)
Pro12 4 cell stock
Pro12 4 cell modified
Pro12 4 cell stock oval
Pro12 4 cell modified oval

A quick note about Pro10 4 cell 19T GT1: this class is for the 190-200mm wide Pro10 chassis only. Only GTS/GT1 style bodies may be used (no sedan or open cockpit bodies allowed)
