has anyone had any dealings with the cefx c12 yet, found somewhere selling them at a reasonable price, but have heard its not possible too run larger diameter tyres, does anyone on hear know if this is the case.
i am a newbie and don't really want to be trueing tyres down to nothing.

but it does look like a good car

The C12 will take all sizes of tyres from the usual starting points of 54mm rear and 48mm fronts. Unfortunately, the supplied body will not take anything bigger than 45mm fronts (and they are a squeeze!) due to clearance in the front wheel arches.

However, the good news is that it will take tyres that are smaller than those used on other cars, so despite having trued them down a bit from new, you can run them for longer.

No, it isn't cheap, and I doubt there will be any special offers on such a new car. However, it is the only car that comes with everything - titanium links, big-ring D drive diff, raceable wheels and tyres, and a body. Once you have bought it, there are no hop-ups required. HTH :)

Last time I checked their site they were asking $400 just for the rolling chassis! Even with all the bells and whistles that is a lot for a car. I will take some convincing yet....

On the other hand, the body does look good, and I know a few drivers who swear by it. Perhaps I'll start on the body and work my way onto the kit later!

I would think Helger would be importing it.

If not, the usual 12th scale shop will more than likely be able to get you one...

If it's sold as advertised then that price looks OK. Look how much you could spend on upgrades to other cars. Most others come in at the 200 mark and then you need a shell at 15 etc
