XXX4 steering mod question

Hi,

When lengthening the steering bellcranks using a piece of carbon fibre, as most people have done, do you have to raise the ball studs on the steering arm to compensate for the raised bellcrank ballstud? To maintain the same bumpsteer charecteristics?

At first, I didn't, I ran it for most of last year with the bellcrank stud higher than the steering yoke stud.

for this year, I wanted to get the bump steer like kit and raised the yoke stud the same amount as the extension is raised, I think that made it better.

simple answer is yes, you should try and do this.

Is anybody making these extentions cos at the moment I haven't got the time to do it?
