hi i run that motor in my b4 and run it on 81spur 20 pinion as they like to rev.
most people seem to gear them at 78spur 22 pinion.
they are a great motor get quicker the more they are used.
i usually have around 1000mah left in my batteries.

Thanks for that mate thought no one was going to reply. How often do you change your brushes in that motor

Well i run a 12x1 in TC, and can get about 10 runs easily, so i would expect around that, perhaps a bit more. I think changing brushes often in a V2 is the wrong way to go as it seems to take a few runs for the brushes to break in properly, and give the most power.

I have a 10x1 in my 1/12th car. It just seems to rev and rev, and has superb performance on almost any gearing!

I gear my 10x2 Peak Vantage in my B4 on 22/81 for outdoor tracks such as Bury Metro, Batley, Southport. Very good motor, I do two meetings for every skim (and sometime it still doesn't need a skim even then!), now and then I can leave brushes in for 2 skims = 4 meetings!
