not a clue what car you have.
but a shorter front camber link would be one of my options to try.
you may loose on power steering because of it though

Understeer is caused by a lot of things i.e there being a lack of grip.
To solve it you could try a softer compound of tyres all round or just on the front.
Also softening the front springs/or stiffening the rears could help.
Out of interest what car do you run?

Invest in the XXX Main book, explains cause and effect and also cures. For Chassis setup its worth its weight in gold

Yeah that wee book is very good!!
Definatley try and get one. Not only does it help you with understeer/oversteer etc. but it helps you with pretty much everything you need to know!

Off power understeer generally caused by not enought weight transfer to the front... softening your front setup will help like softer springs and generally using a softer tyres.... lower front ride height reference to rear. Also you can try increasing rear droop also. Check the XXX main guide as it does go into a lot of details there...
Also if you are going in too fast into a corner on certain track conditions theres in not alot you can do but to slow down!

also could be a front diff which is rough or too tight?
ok car = lab 7.7 pro...
on carpet ride height and droop are set fine for indoors i think it might be the diff to be honest...ill slacken it a little and see ...
cheers..

if you can afford to loose some on power steering then try reducing castor as this will give more steering into a bend (off power). Castor is one thing that a lot of people forget about which can be the best tuning option.

Try kit springs on the front and Lab Blues or HPI orange on the rear.

The Lab does tend to need a variance of around .5mm front to rear, with the front of the car being lower. Using a fairly level ride height that works on other (inferior ;D) cars won't work.

7-7 on Carpet is Orange on the front with black on the back for the 7-7 (bluue on the GT3). If you are running GP3300 cells, you may well get little bit of push mid corner anyways as the car is extremely sensitive to weight transfer and what I found is that if you made the front too soft it would wash out as well as it then overloaded the front.
Another trick would be to do the long link mod to the front, I think this may also help you a little too http://www.modeltech.co.uk/rclab/images/topsmod_small.jpg and http://www.modeltech.co.uk/rclab/images/toplinkchange_small.jpg should help you.

Damian,
Best advice at this point, because we have no idea of your complete set-up, is to put the car back completely to KIT base set up. We know exactly what this is and how the car should behave.
on carpet ride height and droop are set fine for indoors
....is unfortunately not very informative :-
sorry for reference i am using cookie monsters set up for dragons exactley sorry was meant to be working at the same time yesterday..
