There is a set up for Ashby on the Schumacher site, though for modified it shouldn't be far off for stock
thanks for that ,
but wondered if our resident genius had any ideas, as he had a blistering result there for the brca nats....
Mr Kerswell, Mr Burgess your advice is required..lol
I can tell you what I ran at the Nat, it went quite well for me ;)
shocks in standard kit position
60wt all round - 3 hole piston
Blue spring front & rear
6mm ride height
Inner camber links on the upper hole (standard bulkhead)
Outer camber links not 'in-line'
2 degree rear toe-in
1.5 degree negative camber all round
Most noticable handling change over the meeting was to put the diff in the front rather than a one-way.
AS for gearing, I run an Orion Core on 5.15 and a Monster on 5.40 - quite high but if you don't jam the throttle it doesn't overheat the motors.
Like I say, it worked for me, but I'm some others will have some different set-ups.

Peter,
If you need a set up for the BTCC round there come and see Mark or myself on the Sunday morning. I expect we will have been there most of Saturday to get it right because its the last round and Mark and I are tied in first place 19T so we've got a championship to settle.
I dont think a diff is the way to go with stock though and maybe Keith will re think that after his Stafford performance.

Pete - I've sent you my Ashby set up via e-mail. As Keith won the meeting I'd be tempted to listen to his version too - mind you I had a few "non racing distractions" that weekend to blame for my poor result :-X
I had to work hard to get a one-way to work in stock, and I still think a diff might have been faster. If its colder and more damp (October !!!) for the BTCC round, then a diff would be my recommendation.
Happy to offer advice as ever - and may the best man win 8)
Cheers

Mark and Jason, good luck for Ashby and thanks for your help this season.
Honestly Jason, you make it sound like I don't know what I am doing ::)
My car was nailed to the track at Ashby, it is the best I have ever had a tourer - although I accept that my set-ups might not suit everyone.
Again I thank you for the help at Stafford - but I still think a diff was the way to go ;) ;D

Keith,
I'm sure you'll be able to get your own back once the 12th season starts again cos I still haven't quite got my head round setting those up! ???
See you on Sunday.
Jason
thank you all.
Mark yes i do have your set up and ill be up there Friday and Saturday fine tuning....
Got the whole week off, but the girlfriend didn't fancy a whole week getting the set up right.
I just like my car easy to drive and predictable... Don't we all!!
SO i'll gladly take whatever advise is given, if your there saturday Mark/Jason/Krob would you please take my car for a few laps and tell me if its sep up rightish as i recon the car looks a little tweaked but its Brand spanking new????
Cheers guys
