sub c are 1600mah
aa are 750mah

motor is 21 turn

both do about 37mph

but 1600s only last about 1min longer than
aa's ???

at best i get about 6/7 mins

does this sound right

what run time could i expect on 2400s or 3300s

Yes, thats about right. I can get over 8 mins of runtime in 1/12th circuit out of my 3300's (4 cell) with a 10x1 motor, geared for a circuit.

Its pronounced "ten single"

It is a term for a modified motor. a 10x1 has 1 piece of copper wire wrapped around the armature ten times. A 12x2 would have 2 pieces of wire wrapped around 12 times. Different turns/winds give different performance characteristics. In general, less turns give more RPM, while the wind (how many pieces of wire) depicts how smooth the car will be out of the corners. Ask in the modified motors section for a more in depth description.

I think he does engine mapping stuff for cars using loads of cumputers and technical stuff (or at least thats what a little bird told me!)

As for me, I'm still at school doing A levels, although I have a saturday job in a local waitrose store. If I told you any more than that I would be breaking the waitrose confidentiality agreement! ;) ;D
