Hi all
A chap at our club (Stafford) came to me with what at first appeared to be a simple problem. The speedo a GM120 was going straight into full speed from neutral. Simple i thought, re-set the mode with the transmitter to sync the transmitter end points and nutural..
I pressed the setting button and it beeped as normal however when i moved the transmitter stick to full forward, no beep . the same with reverse no beep
After trying a factory reset with still no luck i then unplugged his speedo and plugged it into my receiver and after setting, everything worked perfectly, beeps in all the right places. I set mode 9.
We then unplugged the speedo from my receiver and tried it back in to his and we got control but only half speed. some error was expected as it was now set to my transmitter and not his.
His radio gear is not top end but has all the usual adjustments for epa etc.
Questions:
Are there known compatibility issues with cheaper radio sets?
Can i adjust the transmitter settings via the PC? i have seen the adjustment page but never had the need to mess with the settings?
