Will my xx still be competitive

i am just getting back to racing and own a XX Kinwald edition and was wondering weather this car woul still be competitive enough to run at radio race car rounds or is it best to buy a new car and go for the xxx bk? if i do go for the new car what is the major differance between the two? i take it that things like spurs, springs and wheels etc will still fit of the xx?

from memory only the wheels be the same if running fronts with wide spindle set up not as kit. spur gears i dont think would work and i m pretty sure springs are longer on the xx. thou correct me if i wrong!!!!!

just about every single thing on the chassis is different although i don't see any reason why it shouldn't still be fairly competitive!!
