hi there, i'm thinking ove running an Orion Votex race 10.5 motor but can't find it on the homoligation list please can somebody advise me on weither i can you this or not

Nice and simple, it's not on the list so not approved for BRCA meetings.

I understand that trev but the motor is 3years old so could have been on the list a few years back so could still be used no ??? or does it have 2 be on the current list ?? thanx

If I recall correctly it has never been on the list. It is very rare for a motor to have been on the list and be taken off. In whatever case, the current list has to be used.

The Orion motor has never been on the list, the list includes every motor that has ever been approved even those that are now out of production. I am aware that some orion motors were submitted in the past but not passed by the EB.

If there is an option sensor board that allows more timing, for instance Speed Passion's green sensor board. Is that also not allowed even though it doesn't effect the stator/rotor etc?
