tc3 springs

i race my tc3 on carpet with a 19 turn motor and i was wondering what shock springs i should be using. ???

To many other variables! There are a couple of set ups posted in various threads, including an indoor set up used by Richard Barton on carpet.

Associated state in their tune up guide to go White up front and Purple at the rear, but I found that way to hard......

Trial and error works. By the FT spring kit, and keep trying stiffer at each end until the grip goes off again.

the last time that i was at racing on carpet i was using i think white front green rear somthing like that but it all down to how u drive i was running D20's

The set up given in the manual is for foam tyres, which is completely different to rubber. If you are using rubber tyres, try:

Blue Front
Silver Rear

Different set ups are for different driving styles though.

And combine with 30WT oil rear and 40wt oil in the front.

The out of the box setup should work OK too.

My TC3 on carpet using Shumacher Carpet Dragon tyres runs purple fronts and silver rears. Still a bit lively at the rear end, but driveable.
