It is possible that CML might import them, but I will be surprised if they are under £300.

Well they've said $500 as an upper limit, assuming $30 shipping that comes to £292. Add import duty for a total of £358, plus charges from the courier.

Thats worse case scenario though as they've said it will be under $500, they just set that as an absolute max price.

I get the feeling I posted on here before and its been removed? or is it deja vu?

Could the US$500 mark be RRP, if so then they'll have a price for a distributor say US$300 and then they can add there profit on to that to sell (RRP) around GB£300 here with a decent margin and still be at a decent price to compete with XXX4's ... its only a guess though?

afaik the $500 is their actual price, only sold direct.. so it wouldnt come down.

in the usa its not very competitively priced, but for us its similarly priced to other buggys like you say..

They are being produced by Jason Ruona's company but most of the car is made from other associted cars (TC3, NTC3 and B4 parts etc) apart from some specialised pieces which he told me via email, will be imported to order but he thinks that you can practically run the car from using other car spares. Looks very nice I have some awesome video clips of it but too big to send out sorry.
