Hi All
Just a change to the norm of springing where and when the Euro's are at the drivers briefing at the first national and asking you if you want to go..
Thought I would try and give you a bit of advance warning.
Details are a little sketchy at this stage but we've now got the basics:-
For Dates See Below
So guess we'll be flying out on the Thursday coming back Monday morning.
It's an open entry event, which means if you want to go you can go.
Cost is abou £60 for your entry and EFRA licence
Plus the cost of a weekend break in Austria (£250 ish?)
I'll aim to have rough flight details and costs before the Macc meeting.
Of course you could drive, share the costs of fuel, its a 1,650 mile round trip from Calais !
At Macc we'll be asking for a very rough idea of those interested just so we can give the Austrians a vague idea of numbers at the EFRA AGM 1st week november.
More details as I get them.

Hi All
Bit more info,
Location is town of Kapfenberg, which is about 90m away from Vienna.
Getting there, looks likely to cost around £120 - 150 including transport in Austria, that's flight to Graz (nearest airport) and either Coach transfer or Hire of Minibuses.
Hotel details will emerge after the EFRA AGM 1st weekend in November, but it'll be 4 nights rqd. (Thursday to Sunday inc.)
Travel service can be the "BRCA - We'll get you there eventually" if enough interested.
Though of course it could be cheaper to drive, but it's a long way...

Hi
Right 3rd and last change to this following the EFRA AGM.
Its Still Kapfenberg.
Dates are 16/17/18 April.
The Hotel is next door to the track, Ryanair fly to Graz which is 70km away, and we can arrange a coach to pick up team and deposit at track, all looking ok so far.
Work on flying out Thursday, back Monday.
Should imagine that flight, transfer & hotel should come in around £200 ish, but thats only a guesstimate as have only got current costs, not spring 2004.
Rule changes:-
Odourless as per our rules.
No motor limit (well technically there is, its 1 turn, honest....)
bodyshells as per EFRA's list which is basically the same as ours, but we'll check on that one nearer the time.
weight limit reduced to the same as ours, 800g (812 including pt)
There is a 6 cell class, running in different heats and finals for 17t spec motors.
I'll have an info pack with me at Plymouth.

Hi All
Firstly just butchered this old thread a bit, hope nobody minds.
Travel details
Fly out of Stanstead Thursday Morning to Graz.
Transfer to Track or Hotel (50 meters apart)
Hotel is SportHotel Kapfenberg.
Twin / Double rooms 40 Euro's per night.
Singles 55 Euro's per night.
And anybody wanting the honeymoon suite its 65 Euro's....
All prices per person (& I think include Breakfast..)
Fly Back Monday.
Costs
Flight & Transfers - £115.00 (plus or minus £5 ish)
- I'll organise that bit and payment would be to me in the normal manner, (A large Group booking, gives much more flexability on the luggage allowance)
Hotel - As Above
- Again, i'll book what you require (well Chris or me anyway), so sort out what you need, we'll book it, you'll be responsible for paying your own bills at the time.
Entry fee - 40 Euro's (though could vary a little bit)
- payable direct to the organisers at booking in.
EFRA Licence - £30
- orderable direct from me early in the new year.
They'll be a discussion at Mold, next weekend, and i'll come up with a booking form etc, if your not going to be there PM, email, call me etc as required
Think that's it for now, oh apart from one thing,-
If you've not done a Euro's before, they're loads of fun coupled with some excellent racing, you don't have to be an A finalist, there is competetion available at all levels of ability and budgets, and Austria should be quite nice at that time of year..
