We will be happy to run the 1:12 class providing 2 or more are running, I should hopefully be racing in the Mini class and may soon dig out my RC12L4 and get it back up and running. There's a strong possibility of 5 rounds and finals OR 2 legged finals tomorrow which ever people prefer to run.

+1 for the above... good turnout & great fun day, nice 'n relaxed and a 2 legger final... n-i-i-i-ce... The club is on the up with a great future with exciting times ahead...!!
The standard of driving was a delight today, it made marshalling a pleasure(isn't it always..!) PG 'n CR had a humdinger final and was top fun to watch... well done PG BTW, you took the victory with your usual cool air, very humble I must say!

Many thanks to everyone for attending and helping with setting up and taking down the track today. Nice to see the two legged finals, very pleased with the marshalls and marshalling so great effort everyone!
Martin, Chris took the overall victory in the Touring B as he ended up with a point less than Peter , it's always intersting with two legged finals, Chris won on 4 pts, Peter on 5pts (2 pts is an ideal score a'la David Schofield in Mini's !)
Very nice to get some feedback from everyone today, onwards and upwards

Another +1 from me for the track layout, not sure who designed it but well done whoever it was, made for some very close and competitive racing. Martin, thanks for your "well done" but I have to admit that Chris was playing with me like a cat plays with a mouse most of the time as I was trying out some new tyres and was struggling to keep up lol, it will have to be a return to the faithful Sorex 28's next time I think.

Cheers Martin, was good to get some nice comments too from yourself & jeremy. I was easing off sadly, trying to have a close race with our Peter as he did have issues with the tyres. This did back fire sadly when I sat & waited for him & the motor seized up, costing me 2nd place to by 0.18 of a second. Think I will have to purchase the team powers like our Pete's.
Now the car is going good, I will be hunting Mike Kitchen down next hopefully (northern monkey), but he seems to have that 008 planted so should be hard work.
Nice track today yes, wide, flowing with some clean driving.

Chris, I'm liking your signature at the bottom of your posts lol, it doesn't help that your car randomly falls to pieces as well.

Hi Martyn, I pm'd you on rctechnet with a question about the plutonium motor, just wondered if you'd had any thoughts on that? Thanks, Peter Gill

Martyn. Just bought the plutonium 13.5. Should be here in the next few days. Now to have the same problem as our Pete & keep it cooled down. Hoping to give it a run out at Sharley now.

Chris, there was a guy running a Team Powers 10.5 at the National at Stocksbridge, it stood out because it was the only one being used, it was also barely warm when it came to scrutineering! Dunno, if its the same as a 13.5 tho.

Message for the "Leading innovationist on how to break your touring car" lol, having spoken to Martyn, it seems we may have to look at raising our FDR to get temperatures down, he runs his at 6.17 but still gets good performance, his ESC settings are very similar to ours as well.

I have found and the team info is that a higher fdr is the way to go to keep the motors cooler but you still get excellent performance. I ran at wombwell last sunday with my 17.5 and Paul Boult was running 13.5 we were about the same speed in a straight line and very little difference around the full circuit. The Team Powers are excellent motors as you will find when you get it I even ran mine on sunday with zero timing on the motor.
