We will be holding our annual beginners meeting on Easter Sunday. This meeting is aimed at genuine newcomers although we will accept entries from novices that have maybe only be racing indoors for a year or so and wish to experience racing outdoors on tarmac. When speaking to racers at Nationals its amazing how many started at a West London beginners meeting so why not enter and follow in their foot steps.
We hope to have a few experienced racers on hand to help you out with any problems you may encounter.
Entry fee is £5 with awards to all those that race.
PM me if you wish to enter.

As long as you do not demand to be in "top heat" as for obvious reasons we don't have one.

Am I "eligable"?
I've been racing 1/12th scale cars for a number of years, so my driving/knowledge is okay, but I have never raced a touring car indoors or outside. ??? I'd like to get a feel for my new car before round 2 of the summer series!

As above.... You will have to be tolerant of the real newcomers so NO "Prima Donna" attitudes. Bad enough at "normal" club meetings totally out of place for an event intended to allow newcomers to "test the water".

Not 100% sure a shop will be in attendance.
Will help out with tyres where possible.
Several bags of used tyres available for loan.

Ok i understand now.. eing a little dim today..
Very slightly off topic, i have ordered a set of pinions for my car but i was wondering what most people run as the overall ratio (i.e. 7.1) as i want to make sure i have got the correct range of pinions
for both stock and 19 turn please.. thank you!!!!!
edit... that is a good point.. my motors are a Peak Dynasty (19 turn) and a Monster stock pro (27 turn)

Hi Lewis,
5.5 to 5.75 is bang on for the Monster 27T and only gets warm/hot, I actually run the Dynasty a little higher (more like 5.1) I'll be down if you want some tyres.

Well the dynasty wont come off even warm I have run it at at 4.9 at WL and as long as you are not throttle happy and can keep the motor turning the monster should no get to hot
