i konw this is probably not the right place to ask this for a balanced opinion, but still would you say in your own opinion that either of the yokomo SD's are worth the money, i.e. spares backup, ease of set up ect....
thanks alot

Well there's three SD's.
I would say, YES, definitely worth it.
The quality and precision of the car is excellent, which makes it easy to set up and tell the difference between changes.
I've had no durability issues (although I know others have).
Spares supply has not been an issue for me yet (but then again, I've only broken it twice in almost a year of ownership).
I think the best advert for the car is that the two other people who bought the SD at my club both improved their times instantly.
I would say that the SSG and Black Specials are a bit pointless now that the CGM is out - it's £80 cheaper, tweak-free, and has better materials and suspension adjustments.

Well, IMO if yokomo ever think about upgrading the SSG and Black versions with full graphite parts for the actual price, then I'd prefer it. But as it actually is, the CGM is better for the money, although I don't like the look.

What don't you like about the cgm?

the cgm, might be harder to tweak, but once it has it is impossible to untweak it,

I just don't like plastic chassis...
Get a fibre lyte tub and get the best of both worlds :)
