And don't get the mardave battery charger either! Best way to ruin your battery packs ;D

Mardave sold us acharger for around £30 that was spot on for a new starter.
It does both 4 & 6 cell, Ni-CD & Ni-MH, mains and 12V and I belive is made by Ultra Peak.

I think the one you are talking about is the £5 charger......and I belive they are indeed (Banned word).

thanks for the replys!!! What do they go like outside? And is it a 540 motor that comes with them?

They are not the greatest outdoors .... due to their low ground clearance.
But they are fun on a very good tarmac.

See the thread about outdoors.

It is a 540 motor that you get with the kit, although you can buy the mabuchi rs540sh, which is still a 540 size motor, but is faster. Its what we all use at nationals. A bargain at £7.95! :)

i think outdoor racing doesn't really work as Edt says they are too low i would suggest countersinking the bolts but your not allowed to do that! ;D

go into a DIY store and ask for one. They are quite expensive mind.

They are a cone shaped drill bit basically.

You'll need servos as well, but you can get radio combos, which include a transmitter, receiver, crystals and 2 servos.

Also tools to build the thing, screwdrivers etc etc, Some decent tyre glue for the rims, a good pair of bodyshell scissors - hope i'm not stating the obvious?
