Hello all,

Where do all you TC3 owners mount your transponders? The piece of lexan that you stick onto the top of the servo seems a bit 'iffy' to say the least! Mounting on the bodyshell would seem to make sense?

Cheers,

Baz

I have a carbon fibre transponder mount from schumacher. I have attached that to the side of the chassis, and mount the transponder on that.

others have crafted cutouts in the front bumper (important those 100th's of seconds, you know!) and others stick them in the front screen of the bodyshell....

You can get a blue aluminium bar that has servo mounts integrated with the transponder mount. Some clubs do have issues with this though as they say then can damage the transponder in an impact and they like it within the confinds of the chassis, but i never had an problems when i used to run mine

it doesnt, people probably just think that it's at the front of the car, the car therefore appears to cross the line earlier, but then it passes the starting line earlier as well ???

oh well

I like it when people misunderstand sarcasm.
