ok...the standard one I got with the truck was a 44T gear wheel...... should a 48T gear wheel come into my posesion, what would the benefits/negatives be if I were to put it in the drive train....?
In other words, at Snetterton, would it make any difference?
Also, whilst I'm here.....not all of you are running 23cc engines are you? Is it worth buying a "bigger bore" kit or not?
Thanking you
Hi M8
As far as I am aware everyone is supposed to be running 23cc motors and to be honest I dont see the benefit of running 26 or 29 at snetterton. Last years round of the racer series saw me put in with the super truck heats, I was the only 23cc truck in these heats and my only problem during the whole meeting was not with being outgunned out of the corners or down the straights but getting side swiped whilst putting another lap on all but one of the field.
Gearing on the other hand may well help by slowing/speeding up acceleration out of the corners, but if you go for more acceleration beware the first few laps on cold tyres.
My gearing is out of the box @ 20/44 if that helps.
