hey guys after looking at these car im thinking of changing to it, i would like a pro 4 but £300 is alot and they keep on breaking so i was looking at the mi2 but was wondring which one is the best as the Mi2 is about £180 which is very good and the carbon vision is about £240. so which is the best dont doesnt it matter.
also if i go for the normal one then will it have loads of flex like the pro 3 etc
thanks

The Pro 3 was plastic, whereas the S1 is a lot stiffer (with it being composite). Get whichever you can afford.

is the only diffence in the s1 and the carbon beng that the car is carbon, or is there any extra things with it etc.
also how do they compare driving, are they the same or is the carbon better etc
thanks

i heard for the original mission that top schumacher drivers were using the s1 chassis with the carbon fibre top deck, dont know if this is the same for the Mi2 tho.

Martin - To the best of my knowledge that never happened.
Micheal - it is only the chassis and shock mount material that it different. I don't know much about the S1 car as i have a carbon one. I understand that the S1 car has been good in testing though.

Soz this might be a late messige but s1 is stifer than carbon and not as strong i dont think but if it was me carbon for a safe bet because no 1 really has s1 any more well i havent seen any 1 with them. ;)

Wrong, Carbon is stiffer than S1.
The added flex of the S1 allows it be set up that bit easier, but a Carbon is more likely to win races with the correct set up (?).

Is the only difference between the S1 and Carbon the chassis and top deck? Are all the other parts the same?
Thanks

The only difference is the chassis, top deck & shock towers S1 has S1 composite and obviously carbon on the carbon version , everything else is the same.

If u use stick packs then the stick pack holder doesnt come with the carbon chassis for some reason, i managed 2 get 1 tho' :D
Other than that thats about it, also the carbon chassis has been rebated better than the S1 so some of the S1 screws poke out of the chassis which isnt to good !

Mine wasnt that bad & i have just left mine as it was.
Going off topic here but what holes have u got the rear suspension set at ? & In what holes can u get the most amount of droop without having to cut the ball joints or change to tamiya shocks ?
Thanks

I have heard that the Mi2 only works best with a final drive ratio of about 5.1, on all types of track is this some1 taking the mick or is it true
Thanks
