the orion V2 of peak Vantage motors do not need skimming or changing the brushes anywhere near as much as any other motor on the market.

Whatever you want!
Not sure what people run in offroad, but if you stick to the same wind you're running at the moment, you should get bags more performance with an orion/peak motor!
The best motor in my opinion and also meeting the criteria you are looking for has to be a Peak Vantage Modified 12 x2 or 10 x 2. Depending on HOW fast you actually want it to be.
The standard Modified version seems to be the best for off road. Before anyone says, it is a mod motor anyway, I know, BUT there are 3 types of Vantage.
1. Modified
2. Touring
3. Surikarn
The modified is more suited for off road and is my choice out of the 3.

Or you could get a normal motor from any brand (reedy, trinity, corally etc...) and use the CS T0605 Brushes. Long lasting, low wear of the comm. A bit pricey but worth it.

Hi Joe,
You have not said what type of racing you are doing. Spending £56 on a motor is fine if you are racing at the larger meetings and tracks. If your racing is at a smaller indoor track, one of the 19t motors may be a better option for around £30.
