Hi all

I've just go a P/Form MG ZS shell to go on my Assassin and when I came to cut it out, the rear wheels were no where near the wheel arch. The furthest point of the rear wheel was about halfway inside the bodyshells wheelarch.

I compared my Assassin to a Warpspeed Demon D2 TC3 which is short wheelbase TC3 essentially, and my Assassin had a slightly larger wheelbase. My car is set on the medium wheelbase setting, has the Assassin got a naturally short wheelbase or have I got an oddball bodyshell?

Thanks, Liam

Liam, all 1/10th Assassins are adjustable wheelbase from 254mm-258mm using standard kit parts.

Hi Liam

I think you'll find that the front end of the Assassin is quite snub. What I mean is the front bumper is quite short so if you position the bodyshell so it is pushed up to the bumper the rear wheels will not line up.

Try aligning the wheels and arches without the shell against the front bumper and you'll probably see it does line up. I had the same problem with the Mazda 6 ended up with the front of the bodyshell a bit forward of the front bumper to get the rear wheels to line up.

Hope this helps
