Normally you want harder tyres on the front and softer ones on the rear ...but it depends on what surface your on. I race on carpet i've tried precision tyres but i'm currently using V53G's on the front and V3's on the rear. (Racing on carpet.)
Hope this helps,
Ian

I use UFRA tyres;
UFRA SE medium rears
UFRA pink medium fronts
Precision silvers can work well on the front, as can yellows, but thats just what I've heard; I haven't tried them myself!

Yup same ere, I have found that Jap Med's fronts and SE med's rears, work at all the tracks I have been to last year. (some subtle fine tuning may be needed(i.e. springs on the back at each though)) ;D

this is apparently the order......
1 Precision GOLD
2 Precision SILVER
3 Mardave V3
4 Mardave V53
5 Mardave V53G
6. Precision RED
7 Pecisiion YELLOW
8 Precision ORANGE
gold softest.....and orange hardest
Rear silver or V3 ........
Front V53 upwards.......

I have found that mardave tyres and precision tyres wear very quickly, and chunk easily on the rear. I use precision oranges/yellow on the front of my stockcar sometimes. A similar list for UFRA tyres would be;
SE medium (grippiest, the best rear tyre for carpet racing)
Pink Soft (good for big ovals/tracks, where carrying corner speed is important, providing the grip on the track is good enough. They dont scrub off speed like the SE's)
Pink Medium (I've seen people use pink mediums all round, although I've never tried it!)
Jap Soft (havent seen many people use these)
Jap medium (work well with pink softs from what I've heard)
812 (hardest, not much cop unless you use one on the front outside, with an SE or something on the inside for OVAL racing)
