What a surprise. Yet another enjoyable Sunday at Stocksbridge. Thanks to all the track builders and dismantlers, please accept my appologies for not being around to help take it down, but due to the later than normal finish I had to make dash to Manchester airport for 2.30.

Some enjoyable racing, the 23 stock drivers being split into three finals, (8), (8), (7), meant I missed qualifying for my first A by 2 secs, had to settle for 1st in the B, first time for that too!

The 3 minis, or should i say 2 and a fiat, made for an interesting race. 4 pro stock and 3 1/12th's made up the rest.

Smaller numbers than usual but still a very good day.

Thanks to Lee Godhard for helping me out when I stripped my spur and lending me another, it'll teach me not to turn my esc up to max.

Yep another good meeting yesterday ran by Peter and Keith.

Josh n John enjoyed running in the Pro stock heat with their 13.5 motors - problem now is that they would like to get a 10.5 motor and see how quick it really is.

Also congrats to Elliott on winning the Stock A final.

I love this club!! Nice hardcore of club members still attending after the hubbub of the nitroflight series... the Walkers were their usual excellent, competitive selves... and just look how popular stock was!!! (go 13.5... you know it makes sense..!)

Many thanks to Sherbs for bailing me out with xray bits(again..!), cheers Andy... and thanks too to Dave and Bob for sorting the mini and making me look not as bad as I expected... I think I was only 1-2 laps down in the final after your help!! :o

Thanks due to P 'n K for another great meet and supporting my experiment with the mini.. :)

And well done to Gary for pole in the B final... hey Gary, where did you finish? :D;):p:D
