Drivers have been known to try different chassis from time to time during the "off season". Do you know if he has definatly jumped ship?
Ben is quick, Good resultsb but I think Andy had the edge on him a few times this year going by the results. Still anyone who regularly makes top five is still a top driver in anyones book.

::) Why not try something else in the off season!
im sure if Mclaren Renault or any top teams in full size could try the competition they would in a world where 10ths make prizes then all info helps, the problem is where all these guys are so are lots of long noses!
happy racing all ;D

Sorry for any confusion guys but i wasn't dishin' ben, hes a very quick driver.
im just saying is hes the lead driver if andy has moved.
And was wondering if anybody is going to replace him, as xray had 3 Brca A final drivers and now would only have 1.

i am confident he 'jumped ship' as he was pitting with all the HPI drivers and wearing the team clothes,
also running nosram and orion equipment.

If that is the case it's a shame - Andy Moore got good results with the Xray.
It seems Xray have trouble holding on to top drivers in the UK... ???

not sure if ben wants to comment here but he says he is staying with the xray team, and we still have jimmy maddison and matt brewerton and rob baxter,
why worry?

Is Andy Childs still with Xray?
No he is not.
The X Ray team is still very strong especially in the 19t/27t classes.

Hi guys
You'll have to put up with little old me for now, if you can all bare it?
Anyways serious note I will be continuing with Team X-Ray/Hudy/Peak/LRP for this coming season.
I believe the Factory team car will be awesome on tarmac and will be much more competitive than last year.
Good luck to Andy and his new venture

(sorry to go off topic!)

I think it might have been the problem getting parts that put him off, his Dad came round Snetterton asking people who had xrays if they had trouble with parts and such.

Hi all
I think it would be best if people didn't speculate the reason(s) for Andy's change. He has changed and he should be respected for his decision. It could get nasty this thread with different ideas. I am sure if he feels like letting people know then he will do so as and when.

According to Mario Hudy on the mytsn site, Andy is now working for the HPI importers. Now I am one for brand loyalty but a job is a job. It is nice to think that his excellent season with Xray has secured him a good job with HPI(importers).
I am sure we will all join Ben in wishing Andy every success in his new venture.

well put ben, andy has left for his own reasons.. theres nothing wrong with the parts situation for xray the good thing is if center point do sell out isnt that a good thing that the car is in such demand so like ben says lets keep this post to what its for because it could get nasty.. and lets not slag off the sponsors hey.... center point are a good bunch and xray has reacently gone bang..... every one wants them.
p.s me and ben are going to win the nats in both mod and 19t
thanks jimmy >:(
