Spektrum Micro Rx

Hi, I have a Ko Handset with a 2.4ghz Spektrum sm1001 tx and a Micro spektrum sr3520 rx and cannot get it to bind anyone any Ideas or Help do I need to change the module and if so to which one . Cheers:confused:

You've picked up the wrong reciever mate. That reciever uses the DSM2 protocol and your TX is the original DSM(1) protocol. A DSM2 transmitter will bind to either DSM or DSM2 recievers, but the recievers are not compatible both ways. I think your best option is to change to a DSM std reciever because I don't think any of the transmitter modules are DSM2. Only the real deal Spektrum DX handsets come with DSM2.

easy your sm1001 is for a Jr radio not ko, you should have module sm1003 or sm 1113

is dsm 2 and will never work with the dsm modules listed above

Actually, it reads like that TX module is for both JR and KO radios.

The reciever you need to work with your TX is 'Spektrum DSM SR3500 micro reciever'

Hi Guys Thanks for Advice I will get on to Modelshop and get it sorted. You seem to think my TX SM1001 is for JR . I have a lot of trouble with gliches and erratic running and sometimes the module turns off. Think best route is new system change both.

My bad- I wasn't familiar with that module, googled it, came back with this (http://www.atomicmods.com/Products/Spektrum-SPM1113-SM1001-DSM-Pro-Series-Module-For-KO-PropoJR-Radio__12935.aspx) as first hit and didn't read closely enough to see they slipped a 'p' into one of the options.

your module is ok its the reciever you have is wrong then

I have changed it for Sr3500 which is supposed to be the right one. On spektrums site it says you can use DSM2 module with DSM rx but not other way round. Been on to MB and he has sorted it. CHEERS.
