How many TC, 1/12th or GT10 racers would be interested in a couple of full day events in the summer ??

Would avoid where possible the big events/nationals.
Format similar to the Winter series, but may change to 4 rounds Qualifying and 3 legged finals.
This is only in its early stages and just a thought.
Any suggestions on format etc welcomed

I'm up for a day out depending on date. I'll send you my shift pattern so you can fit it in on my days off :D

Keep an eye out so it doesn't clash with the CARS/AMC Summer Shoot Out if it's on this year. Talk to Kevin C or Trevor C

I'd be up for GT10 then depending on numbers I'd look at possibly running 12th also.

A club night on the Sat night if you could arrange a one off night with the centre could possibly get a few more to travel from afar. I'd come down for it.

Race Format
4 legs & 3 Finals

GT10 class to run 6 mins if possible

How about doing a Summer Meeting based on what looks like a successful F1 & GT10 meeting at Tamworth on the 2nd Jan just gone?

28 F1's
15 GT10's

29 12th's

18 TC, Mardave

Was thinking more of the TC and 1/12th/GT10 with support classes if needed.
Tamworth did a very good job with the F1. So maybe they would continue this ??

I might be interested myself as long as they don't clash with any CARS/AMC meetings. 12th of course. I don't know the dates myself yet though.

That's as long as I have a job by then anyway.

By the way I think more clubs ought to include F1s in their big meetings, they really looked good at Tamworth.

Spoke with Keith after the meeting yesterday, he is booking the venue as normal, we will then have a look at what dates the venue is available and will update from there.

Hi Charles great idea ,im in for 1/12th .But lets go for the biggie a 1/12th national for the 2010/2011 season.It would put the club on the map and generate a lot of local intrest.Full entry both days and a chance to bank some extra cash.Im sure you can persuade the Ellis boys and swing this one.

Charles we'd be interested, though we're planning on doing TORC again, so the following dates would rule us out - but to be honest it will hard to pls everyone.

18th April – TORC Rnd 1 – Broxtowe
2nd May – TORC Rnd 2 – Stafford
6th June – TORC Rnd 3 – Broxtowe
20th June – TORC Rnd 4 – Bedworth
11th July – TORC Rnd 5 – Stafford
15th August – TORC Rnd 6 – Stafford
12th September TORC Rnd 7 – Bedworth

Also the juniors at Eastbourne has been now moved to 1st August.
