mod motor mission gearing

With my 12t mod motor in my mission I am not really that close to the other 12t motor runners.

Im using the 20t pulley, 86t spur and 24t pinion.

It goes great with my super stock, but i have always struggled with the 12t. Can someone give me a good general 12t motor ratio??

It will depend entirly on the size of the track but unless your running outdoors on a reasonable size track id say you were overgeared. Ive run from 18 to 26 all with the same 12t motor, 86 spur and 20t pully depending on track size.

it is an outdoor track, but it changes each week, but its always fairly twisty and tight in places, and usually a medium lenght sort of staraight.

I think a new smaller pinion may be brought soon then!
