LiPo Balance Plugs

what do I need? :confused:

got some of these SMC LiPo's on loan and I'd like to balance charge on the Orion LiPo Clubmans charger but




the balance lead doesn't fit to the board that is supplied with the charger

have no idea what type balance plug it is or what is on the Orion balance board

The balance plug on the battery looks like a jst-xh to me, need a better pic of the balance board to see what that might be. If you can post a closer pic I might be able to say.

SMC latest cells use Balance Connector: JST-XH but no pics :(

Balance board plugs into the side of the charger then balance lead from lipo plugs into the board

Just been into LHS and new version of board comes with the correct female on it to take the SMC battery plug :mad:

Also read somewere the MK2 version will charge without the BB plugged in but asks if you want to continue charging without were as th MK1 won't:mad:

bring back 4mm plugs & tubes and the Spintec ICC :D

you can get leads for that.

if you know a good shop they will have stock or they could make something up.

There is a shop I have used called Robotbirds that does aircraft. They do loads of different balance boards, if you can get a JST-XH board with the right connector for your charger that will sort it. If you look on their website you might be able to find one with the right connector for the charger.

Glen get yourself jst xh adapter board cut one side off of the 4s socket on the orion board plug in the jst xh board into the orion board keeping the red reference wire to the same side as the orion input wire, (see photo) have been useing this for twelve months to charge my Grandsons 2s packs
