How much timing should I set on a 12x1 PT?
Thanks

really depends which batteries you use,
i have a 14x2 with 2400s & a 3000 and i just set it 2 40degrees
also if u want torque then retard the timing, if u want speed (and silly amp draws ;D) then give it as much advance as u can

Try 18 degrees. Each notch on the endbell is 12 degrees (0 is by the endbell screw).

i know this may seem stupid, but why 12 degrees? ;D

The PT endbell has very clear timing marks, how many degrees does each mark represent?

It is 12 degrees between each mark on the endbell.

Not certain why 12 degrees but it works out at 1/8th of an inch(3mm) and it was proabably easier to design that way. Also 12 goes into 360 easily.

As far as I'm aware Peak don't make the PT.
