Yes I know it's still 2009 but I need to book my holidays so that I can ensure I can come up!
Any thoughts please?

Hi Cameron,
We're planning towards May 28/29/30, although, this is still t.b.c. just now but should be in the next few days.
Look forward to seeing you there.
Keith.

Just to let you all know, the flights are very reasonable at that time, I just checked BMI from Gatwick, leaving Friday morning, returning early on Monday morning for £95 in total inc all taxes. The price didnt change if I moved flights to late on the friday or the monday - last flight is 5pm on the Sunday though which cuts it a bit fine.
Obviously there are other options.
As normal, if you are flying up, i will do my best to pick a few of you up on the way through!

Regards,
Can I just confirm that the format is as previous years i.e. arrive/practice on the Friday and then a 2 day race meeting on the Sat/Sun. The SDRCC website appears to say its on May 30th only?
Cheers

Cam,
We will look to get more details out this coming week. I think the format is the same as last year, practice Friday, Pro stock saturday and mod Sunday.

This year is deffo practice Friday, Pro stock saturday and mod Sunday. Sorry for the confusion, last year both classes were done together but this year is different. I know every year there are heated discussions about the format, hopefully this year will be the exception.

Due to this format I dont think I will be attending this event, to spend money on a mod motor I will use once I cannot afford to do ontop of cost of hotel, ferry and tyres. I think last years format was better as it kept the event more competive as most of the fastest guys run mod.
Hope to see you all over here in N.Ireland for round 2

The Reason we choose this format, was to keep all three events running on the same format, this allowed us to create a fair championship that works over all three rounds. The format has worked very well in the past, although i did prefer last years format i think this year will be the best yet for all three events.
Calvin if your serious about coming over to the MMUK Scottish round then there are plenty of last seasons 6.5motors around that can be picked up cheap or speak to a few guys nicely at our club and see if you can lend one. I know i have a 6.5 from last year that i would be happy to lend you.
Cheers

You Dont need much more than a 6.5 at ballymoney, Its a tight track and its easy to overpower a car around there. I am happy with my car on a 5.5, feels good and fast.
