Hi Guys,

Just started recently racing at my local club,
the club has just changed from polished wood floors
to carpet,

I have a TL-01 chassis, and am
finding trouble on the corners
i get off the throttle and even just a twitch of the steering
i am barrel rollling, :o

i brought some carpet dragons with soft insert
(LHS advice) and have noticed that the tyres
Balloon once the differential kicks in. as more power
it transfered to the outside wheels

i recon thisis causing the rolling,,,

what can i do.?? ???

Are your diff's working properly?

I found that if you tighten the screws holding the diff cover too much it makes it very solid.

Try lowering the car.

If there are any spacers on the schocks, remove them. Also, try a stiffer spring .

I am also having the same problem. How tight should the dif cover screws be? and how will this stop the rolling. What about roll bars? ??? ???

The way it did the diffs were to tighten the screw until firm then just put the shaft cups in each side and turn them by hand.
If it felt tight then I losened the screw half a turn until the diff felt free and smooth without making the cover loose.

Regards Roll bar's I've just fitted soom to mine and I must admit I don't think the car corners fast enough to make a difference, however I drive on asphalt so maybe that has something to do with. I'm not sure at the moment as I've only used them once in the wet, It may be a different story in the dry.

rolling is caused by too much grip on the outside rear tyre, the trye ballooning is caused by the tyre lifting from the floor, try fitting a roll bar to the front and stiffer springs on the front.
