:)Can anyone advise on a substitute rear axle for the L3 ?? Preferably a more robust one.

the screw that goes into the axle on mine fell out, can happen quite a lot apparently
easy to do, ask your retailer for a left hub that uses a clamp on instead of a screw on, saves buying new axles, just reapir your old one

hey guys
dose any one know were to get them from as mine has broke aswell and i wanted a better one but my lms dont sell them, so is there any were i can get them from that do mail order etc, pm me please so you dont upset the mods etc

Bit of a pain when it happens on the diff side though! you need to re-fix the screw using epoxy resin, drill through the axle and screw and lock the screw to the axle with a pin. Doesn't come out then (or if it does your axle is well screwed!)

I have an IRRGANG one on mine at the mo. It is a direct replacement and seems to run even smoother than the standard kit one. Also, it does not seem to go as crunchy as fast - I think the thrust bearing part is different somehow. Anyway, I have had it on for about 6 meetings and have not had to touch it so far....
