OK I have two questions for people.
I am looking at swapping from a Yoko MR4TC to a 7.7 club, has anyone driven both to give me feed back on the two compared. As a side issue I find the Yoko a pain to setup for enough rear end grip as my driving stlye is quite agressive.
Secondly
I imagine all my Yoko kit will be no good (springs, pinions, spurs etc)
so for running 27t stock is the 7.7 club ok? and what other bits will I need on top of the kit?
Cheers

Well i swapped from schumacher to rc-lab PRO half a year ago one thing that i like over the schumacher is that it is very easy to set up much much stronger than the schumcher and its stable and the bits are cheap.
And also Mike Smith's son is a very agressive driver and he runs mod so i dont think you will have much problem running 27turn if you ask mike he will help im shore
and secondly
the kit springs are black these are quite soft and i tend to use these quite often,
i dont think the club has a spring set but the PRO does

Stuart Barber would be the guy to get hold of regarding changing from an MR4 to a Lab, although he went to a 7.6 Pro.
I can't see any reason why you couldn't use your existing pinions, depending on which variant of MR4 you have the spur gears may well fit as well, although they may not be the right size to give you a suitable gearing.
I'm pretty sure that Yokomo shock springs would fit, it'd just make life a bit harder for you if you were trying to refer to other peoples setups.
And yes, the car suits aggressive drivers very well. It's very well balanced, with loads of grip at the rear.
Like Mark said, it's worth giving Mike a call and talking it over with him
Yokomo springs may well be on the short side... unless you use a lot of clips... the kit black are very good and for a bit more agressive handling use something like the Yoke Orange (15lbs) at the front... like the HPI Yellow 302.

I've got the threaded shocks on my GT3, but I ran with the kit shocks on the 7.6 for a while and had no problems with them. They are available seperately as well, so if you felt the need to have them you can get them at a later date.
