I'm thinking I might need some 'damp' tyres for my 10L3 soon.

What's likely to work (ISTR either TRC or Jaco do an Aqua compound, listed for damp or dusty conditions) and how easy are they to obtain these days?

In the past it's taken weeks to order in the tyres I want... really need trued & glued as it would be hassle to get them on any sort of lathe.

If aqua compound is what I think it is (very light, open foam), that would be nice to have. If you can't get hold of a set of those, try greens that have never been touched by any additive. Virgins, so to speak.
But if there's water on the track, nothing comes close to tamiya caps. On a soft foam. You can play around with the diam and shape as well. Use a worn tire (oops, tyre) to stretch the cap over.
