Fun Night?

Hi all,

any thoughts on a racing themed fun night?

such as;
-endurance race
-caravan race
-live animal race? (suggested by dad, as we have a hamster, and tortoises!)
-upside down radio race ( personal favourite!)
-'any car' race i.e 2wd cougar '98
-le mans style, run across the track, pick up the radio race.
-compulsary pit stop race (change tyres?)
-reedy race style format, everyone races with everyone
-random heat race


any thoughts?
perhaps a good idea near christmas, once the championship is over.

I like these ideas. I don't have of my own because i'm lazy.

1 thing i'll add if there's gonna be a team or mixed racers race. Might be worth dropping an invite to Milton keynes and Bedford to see if they want to get in on the action too? And of corse spread the christmas spirit (if it's near christmas)

Nice ideas charlie! Bring on the caravan race lol.

Defo think we need to mix things up a bit when not running champs, an endurance night is definatly worth a thought. This could incorporate the old skool le mans start, pit stops (1 set of tyres per team so they have to be swapped from the car coming off to the one going on) and invite other club entries as kris mentioned.

Would love to see what 'relics' people could dig out of their loft/cupboards in a race anything night too.

The live animals race could be a bit tricky tho! not bothered about the cruelty aspect personally, just dont want my bearings and diffs clogged up with hamster fur!!! lol

it will soon test peoples set-up skills :D

now where are my T27 tyres...?

T27's on the rear, slicks on the front, I reckon, for starters...
...plus INCREDIBLY gentle left thumb!

...going to test on the slippery kitchen floor,( with sellotape wrapped around the wheels) as we speak! LOL
