TB-01 SET UP

i have got a tamiya tb-01 chassis.am hoping to race it on wooden floor indoors.at the moment i have got a 58 spur gear & a 19 pinion gear but i run out of top end speed.the car has no bumper as such.what options of foam bumper have i got?
has anyone got any other advice for me on setup or gearing? ::)

You need a TGX foam bumper, ill have to check the part number.

Gearing it gonna depend on the motor your running, last year i ran a TB01 with the 58 spur and i think aroung a 22-24 pinion, depending on the track. That was using a Tamiya Type RR motor (23 turn with bushings) it was rather quick.

For a setup, well i only ever drove it indoors on a wood floor once, setup was:

Yellow rally blocks (schumacher)
soft foam inserts
either yellow or blue "rally" springs (i think it was yellow TBH)
about 45wt oil and 2 hole pistons.
everything else was out of the box,
