Can anyone tell me the main differences between these two kits please?
Is it really worth the extra money in driving performance?

the BK2 is the "brian Kinwald ed 2" hence the updated model...

i believe the main differences are in the gearbox, and optional/refined w/bone/hub pick up points. most of the guys say it's very worthwhile.

Chris will be along shortly to confirm/deny as he has first hand experience of both!

I went to the worlds with a normal xxx and got given a very large bag of bits to make my car a BK2. there are more things differant than the same.

it has a different gear box, because of that it has different rear wishbone inner pin mounts, differnet rear wishbone, hubs, gearbo plate, motor guard. at the rear the only things the same is the rear shock tower. (obviously hardware like ball cups and bearings are the same)

the front has not so much different on it. different wishbones and hubs.

as for the question if you need it or not. I would say if you are looking to get in a national A finals then definately.

however, the std xxx is more than capeable of winning a national against BK2's IF the track happens to suit the car/setup, the advantage with the BK2 is there are more tuning options to get it to win on a track that the car might not like to start with. thus allowing you to win a championship (over different tracks) and not just the odd race or 2.

hope that help
