Hi All

Any club thinking of using "RoadRail" (hopefully not allready doing so) with 1/12 circuit cars, needs to read the news item on the BRCA web site (issued 28th Feb)

The rules in question are number 6.20 from the 2003 brca handbook 1/12 section or if you have the 2004 rules its was re-numbered to 11.5.

Just to save you routing through your pit boxes, Rule 11.5 reads

11.5 Track marking equipment must be such a shape and size to prevent the entrapment of a car or the drivers view becoming obscured. 'Toblerone' shaped barriers and 'Bot dots' are not to be used.

Roadrail is in essence botdots linked with Toblerone, the ideas on the BRCA site looks better and cheaper
