Does anyone have experience with 2wd Touring or Pan Cars? I want one. I am trying to find what is available here in the UK.
If you can PM me any links, that will be great.
Thanks...

I run an Associated RC10L3 Touring - today I had a go in Ashby's 2WD class indoors. Later in the year they're holding three Pan Car Challenge meetings, and there are several other clubs around which will let you run these and similar cars (see the General Discussion / Bring Back Pro-10 thread).
They're awesome fun (the main competition is the Corally CCT, and on a budget the Mardave V10), although if you want to buy a pan car I'd give serious thought to a 1/12th as there's more organised racing for them.
Pan cars are definitely a way to go though, especially as the lack of weight and friction means 8-minute racing is doable (with 2400s today :))

Cool - On Ebay I have seen a couple of Corally brand cars. I never heard of them before though.
How much different are the 1/10 and 1/12 scales?

Different body styles and different battery placement . . .

I'm surprised... Corally have a very good name and have been around for many years.

Having raced in a mixed class of the two at the weekend, the 1/10th pan cars make everything else (including my Predator, though only just!) feel sluggish and heavy; the 1/12ths are the same step up again. "Savagely quick" was the phrase that kept coming to mind, especially trying to marshal the following heat of 1/12ths!

not having raced a pro10 but having run one outdoors i can only say they are the most fun rc car ive ever driven in 14 yrs racing..stupidly quick with modest equipment and yet so good to drive, you can actually drift the back end out and still catch it under braking...until it met the front wheel of a parked mini cooper...dont drive where you shouldnt hehe.
i tried it with an old buggered 6 cell pack that i wouldnt even use for practice, and fitted a stock motor and it was very quick..one of those quick types that make you nervous at high speed and yet grin stupidly..it catches a bit of a small stone and is airborne for way too long :)
