Does anyone have any experience running KR's and PT's. I've got a KR 12*2 which I like a lot, but with getting 3300's soon enough its about time to get something quicker 10*2 probably. Not sure which version to get, any thoughts?

At the worlds they all used kr's, but if you want something a little bit smoother give the pt a try. i would go for a kr myself, but it depends what sort of motor you want. a 10x2 kr will be a beast!! ;D

I disagree I thought the pt motor was a lot better that the kr as it uses upright brushes one thing I have found is that they don't like to be geared up you need to let them rev dur to the 4 magnets

A lot of people have said that including some team drivers but now people know how to treat a kr to get the most out of it, it is very quick. I can see where your coming though from as the kr seems to run a lot more on the limit then the pt, but i think it is a faster motor, but wether this means it is quicker on a lap i dont know.

I have both, in my opinion the KR has more grunt & the PT more revs, so for 4wd buggy or touring cars I'd choose KR but for 2wd buggy I'd go PT.
Just my observations :)

What you've said there is what I had heard before andwhat I was expecting. I'm thinking about maybe getting a KR 10*2 for the 4wd and a PT 9*2 for the 2wd, should be quick either way :)
