try getting a small fan and making a bracket out of lexan for it or servo taping it to the chassis

either get a bracket made, or make one from lexan as sum1 said, or buy the reedy one, and remove the cooling fin's, it will then fit.

humm, looking at my xray now, theres a small production hole above the motor endbell, if you used another bar similar to the one directly behind the central layshaft, you could probablyscrew on so sort of bracket with a fan attatched directed at the endbell like the reedy one.

Get a 5v one from a computer shop. If you ask nicely they might even give you on for free... ;)

yeah, just ask an old one. if they have a computer that's broken or something they can easily get the fan out and give it to you. the fan almost always still works, it's only pretty dusty. ;)

i Wasn’t able to get 5V so at then end i had to buy 12V

I would have thought it would have been far too big to mount in a car. Plus, it will only be operating at 7.2 volts not 12 so won't blow as much air as a 5v fan would.

i managed to get mine from a model show for £1, wish i got some more now, as i can't find any more (but ive only looked on ebay)
